Canon Euro 2004 Photo site May 04 to Jul 04

Canon Euro 2004 - Canon site to allow Euro 2004 fans to search for photos taken by Canon staff in Portugal. Canon staff members took photos of the fans. The fans were then given a postcard with their photo reference on it. This allowed them to enter their reference on the website and find their photo. Canon staff members uploaded the photos to the website overnight and a script ran in the morning which categorised all recent photos and put them in a database.

The site is run on IIS 6/Jakarta Tomcat with mySQL database and Java 1.4. We wrote all servlet/JSP code and set up the database and the webserver.

• Over 50,000 images were uploaded and categorised
• The site has had over 100,000 visitors and over 1 million hits since going live in July
• Searchable image database
• Send to friend functionality
• Admin Tool to allow administrators to update/upload all the images
• Upload tool for images and documents

Mediabuddies - Mediabuddies is a old contacts search site for the media industry. It allows people working in the media industry to search for old buddies or contacts. It also allows people to sign up as a freelancer or post jobs as a freelancer

The site is run on Apache/PHP4/mySQL. We project managed the site and also did most of the PHP coding.

Qantas Extranet - Qantas site for displaying and grouping print quality photos for the print industry. We were employed by Studio Liquid, Guildford to do all the back end work on Qantas's extranet site.

The site is run on Apache/Jakarta Tomcat with mySQL database and Java 1.4. We wrote all servlet/JSP code and set up the database and did all the Javascript/HTML/CSS.
